Webinar: Organising the next generation of workers

Trade union membership is growing, but we still face big challenges.

Just 1% of trade union reps are under the age of 30, while just 1 in 10 young workers aged between 20 and 24 are in a union.

Earlier this year, we sent young trade unionists into workplaces to speak to young people about their working conditions.

This Young Workers Month, join two of our young members to hear what they found, their experiences of organising in unions, and what reps can do to engage young people in the workplace.

We'll be discussing:

  • The main issues facing young people at work
  • Digital techniques to communicate with young workers
  • Top tips on talking to young workers for the first time about unions.

If you're a union representative, you're entitled to paid release from work to take part in this webinar. Talk to your employer.
